Experience has shown that traditional personal interviews make it quite challenging for us to connect with and onboard volunteer helpers. To change that, we have designed a completely new, fast, and transparent recruitment process!
Getting Started
Your path to becoming a community member starts with three simple, straightforward administrative steps:

Apply Easily: Submit your application via volunteering.emgprd.org/jobs or directly on Idealist.
Apply via Idealist - Document Review: We review your submitted documents to find the perfect fit for your talents.
- Sign Your Agreement: You sign a digital contract as an official volunteer helper.
Integration & Collaboration
Once onboarding is complete, you will immediately dive into our digital workspace and active community:

Join our Slack Channel: Come over to volunteering.emgprd.org/slack and start collaborating with us right away.
Join Volunteer Slack -
Digital Workspace Setup: You will receive your own personalized email address and full access to Google Workspaces as an official community member:
firstname.lastname@communitymember.emgprd.org - Task Allocation: You will be assigned specific tasks for your department. You track and document your progress natively inside our system software.
- Weekly Coffee Talk: Once a week, we catch up in a relaxed 30-to-60-minute "Coffee Talk" to get to know each other and grow as a global team.
